The ProSound α 10 comes with a compound transmitter that makes transmission waveforms programmable. The arbitrarily designed ultrasound waveform and improved transmission/reception delay control, which is 4 to 8 times more accurate than that of conventional systems, suppresses the emission of unnecessary sounds in both frequency and space, thus creating a high-resolution ultrasound beam with less side lobe.

ULTIMATE Compound Technologies - for higher image quality

Programmed according to imaging modes and probe types to eliminate unnecessary frequency components, the transmission waveform with a narrow pulse width provides excellent spatial/contrast resolution.

The transmission/reception delay control is 4 to 8 times as accurate as conventional systems and, together with the Compound Transmitter, suppresses unnecessary spatial sound emission. This ensures high-resolution beam characteristics with less side lobe effect.

The Compound Array Probe has arrays of transducer elements divided in the slice direction, in addition to an acoustic lens for focusing in the slice direction. This dual focus control provides the image with a uniform slice thickness from near to far fields.

Unlimited - excellent extensibility

Digital signal processing allows raw echo signals to be stored intact. The system comes with functions for analyzing and processing raw data, such as eTRACKING using RF signals.

The system is designed for flexibility and expandability. Digital technologies to meet future needs ensure smooth application to a wide range of measurements and analysis.

Usability - more practical

The ergonomically designed monitor and panel move in conjunction with each other, reducing stress in lengthy examinations.

The smallest and lightest in this class, with easy foot-lever operation.

Usability features include frequently-used switches being arranged around the track ball on the control panel, and the menu displayed in large, easy-to-read letters on a wide LDC screen.

Usability - more convenience

A wide variety of scan modes and probes to suit your diagnostic needs are available. In addition to the established HST probes, this system operates on HST+ probes, compound array probes, and high-performance 4D.

For data storage and output, various formats are supported such as MO, CD-R, DVD and digital printer, and moving image data can be used via a network and PC.
